2007 will see the UK launch of the Elan Impression 514 Maxi. Designed by Rob Humphreys, the largest sailing yacht the Elan yard has ever made is a blue water cruiser that promises to set new benchmarks for yachts in its class. The Elan Impression 514 Maxi is available from Premier Yacht Sales at Swanwick Marina.

The semi deck saloon opens out into a large interior living area, with overhead and side panoramic windows providing plenty of natural light and an excellent view, while the spacious L-shaped chef's galley and relaxing U-shaped lounge area to starboard provide an abundance of storage throughout. As with the other Impressions, there is the opportunity for the owner to custom design with a selection of various interior layouts and the possibility to have up to 5 beautifully appointed cabins and large en-suite bathrooms, providing plenty of comfortable living space for the crew.
On deck the vast cockpit area provides excellent comfort, the twin wheel steering system offers both a perfect position for the helmsman and excellent access to the transom, and ergonomically positioned winches make for easy handling with minimum crew. In addition, a BBQ grill to port and sink with hot and cold water to starboard prove that Elan have considered all aspects, whether for the serious yachtsman, cruising family or social sailor.
The garage door can be opened at the push of a button and serves as a large swimming platform when fully opened, creating easy access to the water and additional entertainment area. Below decks, the designated garage space provides storage for a tender up to 2.60 metres in length and hydraulic gangway provides easy access on and off the yacht.
The hallmark of the designer Rob Humphreys guarantees performance, stability and hull speed; with an optimised keel, tall deck-stepped rig and clear deck with high quality deck gear, the owner and crew will definitely have a rewarding and relaxing sail.
